Margot, used to bodyboarding, was ready to take on the challenge of improving her surfing with the Test Tube 8'. "Changing boards is like learning a new language," she confides. "But the Test Tube 8' seemed like the ideal choice for this transition."

From the outset, Margot was impressed by the buoyancy of the Softlite. "It allowed me to gain confidence quickly and focus on my movements."

The stability of the foam board was a major asset, especially for a beginner. "I was able to stand up without feeling too unstable, even in this choppy swell."

Margot also highlights the ease of paddling the Test Tube. "It's a board that responds well to paddling effort, which was crucial in these difficult conditions."

"Being used to lying down on my bodyboard, I found the maneuverability of the Softlite a bit limited," Margot admits. "It's something I'll have to work on."

The sunset session in Capbreton was particularly lively, which posed additional challenges for a beginner like Margot. "Navigating through the crowd was sometimes intimidating, but that's also part of learning."

Despite the challenges encountered, Margot emerged from the water with a radiant smile. "This board really helped me take my first steps into the world of surfing. It's a board with a lot of volume (80L) that offers excellent stability for learning and progressing."

Its buoyancy, stability, and ease of paddling make it a wise choice for beginners who want to explore the world of surfing. Capbreton, with its lively atmosphere, was the perfect testing ground for this initiation, and Margot is now ready to continue her progress on the waves with her new surfing companion.
