At Softboard Center, we appreciate Luka's work, which is why we thought it would be interesting to have him test one of our boards.

So we contacted him to tell him about the project and ask him which board he would like.

Among our wide range of foam boards, it was the 6'0 Mullet Fresh Bean with its "all black" look that finally won Luka over.

The Mullet Fresh Bean is one of the high-performance models in our Mullet range. Its shape allows for well-distributed volume, making it easier to catch small waves. With its LXL 10 Lb deck and double stringers, it's a stiffer, faster, and therefore more high-performance softboard. Perfect for Luka's expectations, as he was looking for a board to help him continue his progression before moving on to an epoxy shortboard.

And how did it perform in the water?

Overall, Luka had nothing but good feedback, truly feeling the board's stiffness, which allowed for better maneuverability, responsiveness, and sharper turns despite the small waves on the day of the test. As for negative points, Luka noted the absence of a pad on this model.

In the end, a board that suits Luka perfectly and will allow him to progress well in his surfing.

Luka's Mullet Fresh Bean and the entire Mullet range are now available on the online store.
